About
Screenshotify is an open-source desktop application for Windows and macOS that monitors screenshot folders and uses AI to suggest descriptive filenames.
The tool runs in the system tray or menu bar and integrates with any OpenAI-compatible API or local models like Ollama. Users can review, edit, or reject the suggested filenames before any changes are applied to the disk.
Built with Tauri and Rust, the application operates without a backend or user accounts, storing API keys securely in system-level credential managers and offering fully offline capabilities.
