The board is sorted solely based on 'heat,' which represents the payment amount made to secure a position. The ranking system features a decay mechanic where a listing's heat burns off over time, meaning positions are rented rather than bought permanently. Anyone can buy heat for a project, but only the holder of the unique project key can edit its details, which can also be verified via DNS records.
